About Us

Some gems hide in plain sight

Come Explore the Meadowlands.

Meadowlands Kayak Tours’ mission is to introduce you to the wonders of New Jersey’s ‘hidden in plain sight’ oasis, the Meadowlands.  Our goal is to share our love of nature, the Meadowlands and kayaking with you.

Guided Kayak Tours

Kayak Tours for all Levels

Our tours can accommodate any experience level, from first-timers to veteran paddlers. Tours range from 2-3 hours and 2-7 miles. Paddle course choice subject to prevailing conditions.

Experience The Meadowlands

Follow meandering creeks through acres of waving reeds, flushing flocks of wading egrets and skittering sandpipers. Enjoy vistas ranging from forest-bordered marshland to the Manhattan skyline.  Explore a natural oasis in the heart of the most densely-populated part of the most densely-populated state in the country, 5 miles from 15 million people, but a world away.

Get Outside. Experience it all. Embrace Nature.

What We Offer You

We walk you through the local environment, the day’s float plan, and kayaking basics before each tour.
